From 2020 to 2022, I illustrated the ByTheWay Concierge column for the Washington Post (roughly 40 pieces ). What began with dilemmas about traveling during Corona evolved more and more into a “normal” travel column. Looking back, it is a journey back to a time in a state of emergency and the attempt to make the whole thing a little more bearable until slowly but surely normality returned. Here I'm showcasing some of my favorite illustrations that I created together with the wonderful art directors of Washpost.
